I know there are not that many of these handguns in everyone's collection, but I can honestly say my S2 Orange is the finest handgun I have ever owned. I guess I'm discounting the CZC and CGW offerings, but I just can't see how any of those models can outperform this factory customized handgun. Any others with hands on experience please chime in.

I think you need to shoot the Tactical Sport Orange and then tell us what you think. :)

They all shoot left.

You're probably right, but the factory accu-bushing in the S2O should slightly increase accuracy.

Only mine do... :)

Just could not get use to the Shadow 2 frame. But my Shadow SP-01 Orange is the cat's meow!

in production straight from the factory - probably.

I’ve never fired the shadow, but I can’t imagine that it out performs the TSO. I’d put either of my two against a DA/SA gun anytime

I don't think there is a CZ that shoots better than the TSO. This includes the Czechmates that I have shot. There was just something different about it compared to my TSO.

Thanks for the replies, but I haven't seen any replies that confirm the TSO is actually better/more accurate than the S2O. I mean someone would have to own both models with actual hands on shooting experience.

Have both, shot both, have actual hands on shooting experience. To me they are such different guns that comparing the 2 is more apples to pears than apples
To apples or oranges. I can say that o shoot the TSO slightly better than the S2O. But that might have more to do with the single action straight trigger (that I know I prefer) or the fact that I have over a years more trigger time behind the TSO. But that is not to take away from the S2O or any of the shadow DA/SA guns, all of mine perform flawlessly and shoot a whole lot better than I am capable of taking full advantage of.

The bushing on the S2 orange should provide at least the potential for better mechanical accuracy than the TSO. Whether or not CZ actually maximizes that potential may be another thing all together.
I think the TSO in 9mm is inherently easier for most people to shoot well. I think a TSO fitted with a 1911 style bushing would be the ultimate combo. This one belongs to the owner of Armorycraft, pretty sweet.

OK. I thought my earlier post would have confirmed that for you. I have the TSO and my best friend has the TSO and S2, so I have shot his S2 many times. I guess the best way to explain it is that he bought his TSO first then purchased his S2 after. Immediately after he fired his first round from the S2 he looked at me and said why did I buy this? Now of course the S2 is a great gun, but his statement sums up what we both thought when comparing it to the TSO. As mentioned before, I hope you get a chance to shoot and compare them yourself.

Your friend has a S2 and a TSO, but is your friends handgun a Shadow 2 Orange?

I own both. I did replace the barrel bushing on the TSO with the CGW version. As others have said, I believe both are capable of greater accuracy than I am able to deliver. So, to me, it's more about which one is easier to shoot accurately than it is which one is more accurate. The answer, at least for me, is the TSO.

Good info, thanks guys.
