Title: P01 rear sights on PCR

I am contemplating replacing the rear sights on a PCR and using the P01 rear sights.   From what I have read they will fit but will leave a gap in front of the sight.

Why do I want to use the P01 sights?   I like the shortness and that it still reaches further back.

Any other cons except maybe the look of having a small smooth gap area in front of the sight?

Just make sure that they have the same number on them

Yes they will work. I used standard CZ75 B sights on my PCR at one point with great accuracy but the gap is a bit more than small and does look wonky. I eneded going with a set from CZ Custom that are specifically for the PCR. The short-tac rear they sell reaches all the way back yet fills the gap nicely.

I agree. The short-tac rear sight that they sell is perfect for me. Fills the gap nicely.

I’d seen the short ones on cz custom page but I liked how the P01 were not as long but the one for the PCR do fill in the gap.  After posting this and seeing the feed back I am thinking to go with the one that actually fits the PCR.   I didn’t think the gap would bother me using the P01 but I would hate to get them find out that the gap did indeed bother me and have to but another rear sight.  Thanks for the feedback.

If you are type on man who like to have everything in proper order... yes, you will end up with replacing the sight again to get rid of the gap  ;)
Save your $$$ and go with rear sight designed to PCR ....
... just advice from unhappy "gap" and other "too long rear sight" owner  :D ;)

I went with the CZ custom HTAC meant for the 75, yes it leaves the gap but I wanted a racking shelf.  No PCR sight gives me that option.

I have the tru glow tfx sights. The gap doesn’t bother me at all and I really like the sights.
