Waiting to receive my Shadow 2 Kadet kit. Will the magazines for my original Kadet kit work with the Shadow 2 kit?

No.
Original Kadet and Kadet II use metal thick magazines with 22 insert and red follower.
New generation Shadow 2 Kadet kit use new plastic thin magazines.
