Title: I got a CZ40P
Post by: AMraider on July 18, 2020, 04:00:16 PM
Picked this up at a local show this morning. Used of course but looks to be in decent shape. looking forward to putting some rounds down range after a good cleaning and inspection.

Very Nice! Best part is the derlin bushing looks mint so not a lot of rounds fired.

Neat, gratz on the new CZ. What is the story with the cuts across the magazine tubes?

Thanks guys!
I really like the feel of this in my hand and I have always liked the .40 S&W round.

Tok36...I am by no means an expert but I have read that the laser cuts were there to limit capacity for the hi-cap ban. Hopefully someone with more knowledge will chime in.

that is one way they nerfed magazines to 10 round capacity under the Slick Willie Scary-looking Semi-auto ban.

Nice pick up. Congrats.

Eastman is correct about the cuts on the magazines. There are some 10-round magazines without the cuts. Those on the .40 compact look somewhat rougher just by the location of the cut line compared to the full size nine?

Congrats!

One of my favorites!  Mine is a shooter for sure and I carry it most.

Cheers,
