Title: What light are you running on you P10S?
Post by: Jeep_Nut on July 31, 2020, 09:34:52 AM
Looking for a compact light for my P10S. I know the Olight PL2 Mini fits. Will the regular PL Mini fit? What other lights are out there?

The original PL Mini 1 does not fit the P10s. The Pl mini 2 is perfect for the p10s.

I've jest tested a Streamlight TLR-7A and it does not fit on the P-10S without modification.

Since this light uses interchangeable rail adapters do believe the light could fit by making or modifying the rail adapter.

Here is the light on the P10S without any rail adapter installed. I don't think the light would be safe to use like this but it does show that you could make the TLR-7A work if you were determined.

For context, here is the PL mini 2 that I regularly use with the P10S and would recommend over the TLR-7A for the P10S

Normally, I'd take a streamlight over olight any day of the week. But these pictures may have shown me the light--so to speak

I dumped one of the original Streamlight TLR-7 models for an Olight PL-Mini 2 for my P-07's.  I traded off the TLR-7 for a Powertac M5 flashlight at a local gun show, and have since purchased two separate PL-Mini 2 lights to go with my two separate P-07's.  Their main advantage for me is that their switches are just designed better for a human being to use as a weapon-mounted light, and their mounting system is a heck of a lot more flexible as well.  The only issue I had with them was with the rail key screws backing out on one, which was solved with some thread locker.  I like the switches on the new TLR-7A model, but I've already spent the time, money, and effort on holsters for the PL-Mini 2 so I'll be living with these until they fail on me.
