Title: New to CZ
Post by: P01newby on August 05, 2020, 08:34:43 PM
I picked up a p01 last weekend, hope to get to the range tomorrow. I'm excited and certainly get the excitement behind this brand. Anything to look out for?

Yeah watch out for other CZ firearms now, because you will be wanting more! You made a great choice with the P01. If you feel you need to upgrade anything check out Cajun Gun Works. Enjoy!

Had a good time, only got to shoot a box, i was working so I was in and out. I love it, gonna have to learn to shoot it though. I'm so used to striker fired pistols that it'll take a little time with it. I was still putting them in a 2" group at 15 yards. That's plenty good for now. Of course I was throwing the da shot though....lol.

Yes, most definitely watch out for the P10... in any of its variations.

Welcome aboard !

CZ is fine manufacturer of firearms, handguns in particular.  Other name brands are good and you may prefer certain models.  But be careful, after you buy your first CZ pistol they just seem to multiply. Enjoy!

I recently got a P-01 and didn't realize how big the difference was until I was dry firing (with laser cartridge) the P-01 and then a Glock 48.  The 48 grip felt horrible after the P-01 and it used to be fine.  Has CZ ruined my Glocks?

And as someone coming to DA/SA from striker, the videos earlier were very helpful.  Thanks.

not so much ruined your glocks as opened your eyes

So true!  But ignorance was bliss.  Now I have to work on getting comfortable enough with the P-01 to carry it.  And get new holsters.
