I have helped some people fit their Kadet, and the first time I made it so tight it was a PITA to swap uppers.

i fit it to make it snug, but not too snug. Your PITA imo is "too snug".

JJ:
The fit on a 75 KADET had little to nothing to do with its accuracy .... not a thing !
It can be a tight as you can deal with, to Field Stripping it
OR .... it can be as loose as a Spanish 1911 .... makes no difference
Since the Sights are (basically) fixed to the Barrel, almost as if it was Iron Sights on a Rifle; so make your Kit fit as well as you feel is best for you !

Nice to know! I was worried about loosening the kit for another frame, but I guess I can move it from frame to frame without worrying. Thanks!

You betcha
As many Host Frames as it was designed for
With the CZ75 KADET Kits .... the accuracy is built into the Unit, not the fit

I've owned I think 3 Kadet kits over the years. Only the first one I owned ever needed fitting. The other two just dropped in with a not too snug, just right fit.
The one I currently own has spent time on both my Shadow Line lower and the Shadow lower I picked up from CZC last month as a permanent host for it. No fitting required on either.

DenStinett is correct. I had mine too snug to begin with and it was a pain also. After some additional filing on the "ears" it was snug, but not "too snug" for a nice fit.
