Title: Did the trigger that comes on a CZ Shadow 91154 change?
Post by: matto on October 08, 2020, 03:58:19 PM
CZ Custom's site lists the Shadow (91154) as coming with the "85 Combat Style trigger".  But it shows a picture of what appears to be the typical black trigger on normal CZ 75's

I called and they said the 85 Combat trigger is a mistake, and the gun comes exactly as pictured, with the same trigger as other CZ 75's.  (sorry, not sure who I spoke with)

However, all the other pictures I've seen of CZ Shadows had silver triggers, which I assumed to be the 85 combat.   Other sites also list the 85 trigger, and show pictures with a silver trigger.  Here the first picture is a black trigger, the rest are silver.

Other guns, such as the CZ Custom Shadow, and CGW's customized shadow, also show silver triggers and don't list the trigger itself in the list of parts upgraded

Did the trigger change?     Triggergate!

Maybe the Shadow 1 came with black triggers many years ago but any I've seen or owned in the past few years have a silver trigger.

It is NOT the same as the Shadow 2 trigger, despite what some people say.  It is a little more curved than a Shadow 2 trigger.

Other versions of the Shadow (Shadowline, Shadow Orange, etc) may have other triggers.
