Just brought a sharptail 2 weeks ago and took it out on its first hunt. The bluing on the barrels are starting to rub off already. Any way I can touch up the blueing on the barrels?
Also was hunting in a snow storm. Should I disassemble the trigger housing and give it a good cleaning? If I should disassemble. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do this? This is my first SXS gun.

Were you able to disassemble for cleaning? I saw a YT video and the screw by the trigger guard had to be removed, but the slot is very shallow.
I had a few instances where both barrels seemed to fire on one trigger pull, so I wanted to do some cleaning. That issue hasn’t happened in a while so might have just needed a break-in period.
