I’m ready to Cajunize my Sp-01 Tac and want to get some advice as to what package is best for my needs. Obviously I want to get her as smooth and sweet as possible. This pistol is for the range and home defense so I will be dealing with factory ammo. I won’t be shooting competition. Price is not a problem but I just want to make sure the premium package will work well with factory loads as I would prefer to go premium unless there is an issue.
Thanks in advance!

There are no ammo related issues that the Pro package would induce over the standard package. If you do run into issues, springs can be adjusted with either tuning kits installed.
The basic difference in the two kits is the inclusion of the Reach Reduction Kit. The RRK reduces the Double Action Trigger reach.

Great because that’s something I was going to get no matter what.

I did the pro package on my SP01 T and couldn’t be happier. I used it in IDPA all last season and it served me well. Go for the pro package - you’ll be glad you did.

Pro package is awesome! Definitely ticks the boxes you listed. I've got it on both a P-01 and an SP-01 Tactical. Takes a good gun and makes it great. No problems at all in my guns with ammo.
Are you planning to install yourself or have CGW do it?

pro pkg on my sp-01 and my p-01 and am very satisfied! once you get the sear cage assembly the rest is easy! lot's of videos! the two slave pin method worked for me. sear parts installed minus springs , then held sear from both ends and installed springs in the middle. then using one slave pin put assembly into frame and install full lenght sear pin. there is a video on u tube that i used!

Pro package it is! I’m pretty confident I can do everything except the sear. If worse comes to worse I’ll bring the sear cage (and any parts that went flying) to a smith. Definitely going to get the slave pin.
It’s between a new Beretta 92 or the kit and with the prices and availability of firearms right now I think I’m going to focus on my CZ and forget about the Beretta for now.

i have lost the small spring in the cage twice in the carpet and found it both times with a magnet. take the cage apart in a gallon zip lock bag and install it with dental floss attached to it that can be clipped and removed once back in the gun. and get a few extras of the small spring on the right when you order the kit.

I’d go pro psckage

In addition to the Pro Package, I'd suggest getting:
- An extra L-Spring Lifter Spring. That way you'll have a spare when (not if) you loose the one supplied in the kit.
- Decocker Installation Kit which includes a heavy starter punch and sear cage slave pin
Installing the sear cage is the hardest part; but quite doable if you're patient. If you start getting frustrated; quit for a while and come back when you're relaxed. Lots of good videos on how to do this.
I'm sure you'll love the result when you're done.

After you install the pro package, don't completely forget about the Beretta. Get the Langdon Tactical "trigger in the bag" kit for it and install. I installed the LTT kit on my 92X Performance with the trigger bar and love it. Smoothest DA and best reset of all my pistols.
-
Go for the Pro. I have this kit in my SP-01 and my 97b and couldn't be happier. Like others have said there are plenty of videos, take your time and polish, polish, polish and enjoy.

I went with the pro package and the 10x bushing.
-
I went with the Pro Package on both my SP-01s...
1st gun: D/A=6.8#, S/A=3.1#
2nd gun: D/A=7.11, S/A=2.7#
Couldnt be happier!!!

I have had three Pro Packages done by David and his crew at CGW, and have been super happy with them, their work and customer service, the quality of work and turn around has been awesome, can't recommend them enough.

You will be amazed by the difference the pro package will make.. totally worth it. And a extra lifter spring and sear cage slave pin are a must!
-
Just emailed them about the pro package on a PCR... can't wait to get my first CZ!
-
Pro all the way ! You won’t regret it !

Pro; it turned my 75 compact into an amazing pistol. I had the Cajun boys put it in though; just wasn’t confident in my skills to do it correctly. Also had them add an extended safety which also nice. (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20211016/d0daeea0369af49447ad716317b0c2c1.jpg)
