Well, I SHOULD have shown some improvement over the week. I was able to put 210 rounds of Atlanta Arms 185 gr JHP 100 yards downrange over the course of 4 range trips in varied conditions of wind, air temp, cloud cover, and shooter temperament. By Friday, I was much more consistent with the group sizes than on Monday, and that was the goal, as I had missed over 3 weeks of trigger time with any centerfire pistol.
I head back down towards sea level on Saturday, and hope to make it to a local range on Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. I need a little quality time with the Kadet next, I think.
Here is a 7 minute video I made of the two hour session today.

I got a pretty good dose of cool weather on two days and high wind on another. I needed that.

JoeL,
You beat me when you shoot on a bad day. Great shooting! Now I want to put a red dot on my 97BD and work up some hundred yd loads. 4 MOA with a 45 at a 100yds, would take a lot of time. skill and luck to beat thatJW

Thanks, JW. We made the 9 hour drive home yesterday from the Mountain Retreat, and I am tired but elated at the results I was able to get over the four range visits in 5 days.
I still had one or two good groups out of 5 or 10 at the first of the week, but by Friday, the percentage of "good" shots had increased substantially, so that over half of the groups were presentable. It helped that there wasn't any wind on Friday, also.

Have a thousand or so Nosler 185gr Competition bullets and some Remington nickle cases. Maybe VV N330 or N340 should make a good load. Sadly still have one load project ahead of it, and that is 38 Super Comp. Working on a Bowling Pin load. Will post how it works out. Probably not this month, but by Feb.
Victory would be getting 5 shots in a row inside them 7 ring. We shall see.
