Title: Chest Holster for the CZ 82/83?
Post by: Frank Black on February 08, 2021, 01:45:36 PM: So I asked GunFighters Inc if they made their kydex Kenai chest holster for the CZ models 82/83, and they responded: "no, sorry, not at this time."

Anybody know of a holster vendor who makes a chest holster for these pistols?

I'd prefer kydex, but if leather is the only option, I'll consider it.

Another option would be if anybody knows of a chest holster that, while made for a different pistol, is "close enough" to work with an 82/83 due to relatively similar sizing.

The Model 82 is what my girl shoots (and pretty well too), and she wants to carry it in a center chest holster for hikes in the woods and similar boonies excursions.

We'd hoped to find something like the Kenai or possibly a leather chest holster. So far no luck.

I am not aware of Alien Gear having a holster of that type. Just suggesting a model to look at. That Bersa is modeled after the PPK. I would also look at Makarov holsters as the 82 is known to fit a lot of Makarov holsters. My 2nd gen Aliengear does have a Kydex plate, it is open ended though. The 82 would not fit a closed one since it is longer than all of those other models. So I’d look for open ended chest holsters made for Makarov or PPK with adjustable tension. Since the 82 is also slightly wider, the width adjustment must be opened on my Aliengear. Two full turns out. Chest holsters for Makarov ought to be easy to find.

She needs a center chest holster where the 82's quickly accessible without having to dig through anything complicated like that.
