Our pistol was a "new" purchased years ago. I'm sure its a refurb from the arsenal. Anyway we have only shot it a couple of times. The floorplates on both mags come off. Pretty sure they aren't good quality mags.
Is there a source for genuine military, high quality mags?

If you're still looking J&G has them for $20. https://www.jgsales.com/cz-52-7.62x25-or-9mm-8rd-magazine,-black-cz52,-new.-p-69817.html?cartadd=69817

those are not real CZ factory magazines. Those are the ones that have "cz mfg" stamped on the floorplate. They are absolute garbage.

Oh. Sorry.

Oh. Sorry.
I made the mistake of buying both the vz52 and vz82/CZ83 versions of those mags, so I am trying to help others avoid the same mistake.

So, after shooting down Nevada, what is your recommendation?

1st choice is the original surplus magazines
only other option is Triple K. They are hit or miss out of the box, but they will fix a mag that doesn't work (under warranty) and make it right.
