Title: Recoil Buffers on CZ TSO

I recently purchased a TSO and was wondering everyone’s thoughts on whether or not to use the recoil buffers that CZ supplies. I tried using them when I was into the 1911 platform and had all kinds of cycling issues until I took them out. I have since gotten rid of my 1911’s, opting for a CZ 97B and I’ve never looked back. Anyway, your thoughts please.

I use them in my non-Orange .40 TacSport

I use them in my TSO's.  It changes the felt recoil impulse and shortens the ejection distance.  I am in the process of testing the newer black rubber buffers.  So far it is holding up but I feel that it isn't as soft in recoil as the clear vinyl buffers (thicker variant).

This is in my 40 cal TSO's.  I'm not sure I'd run them in the 9mm variant as you should be able to tune the ejection distance effectively with recoil springs.

is yours a 9 or a .40?

My TSO is the 9mm.

This is an update to my earlier post concerning the use of recoil buffers in my 9mm TSO. I have had the TSO out to the range several times shooting with and without the recoil buffers. I haven't noticed any difference in perceived recoil with or without the recoil buffer installed. I used the same ammo for both tests and 2 other shooters.

Thanks for reporting back.  Never noticed a difference on mine, so I usually do not use them.
