Title: 40 to 9 TSO conversion?

I know on the older Tac Sports, you could put a 9mm in the 40 with little to no issues....But does anyone know it the Tac Sport Orange will convert?

I don't see why not, it's the same action.   The TSO is a little tighter so may need more fitting to get it to fit.

I found a really nice TSO 40 for a fair price, and I already have 6 9mm mags....But the 9mm barrel is out of stock right now. I might just buy the gun anyway, and wait on a barrel. If It needs gunsmith fitting, so be it....My original two tone Tac sport, and my brand new Tac Sport 2 barrels are exactly the same and fit each other gun perfectly...

I have done this and even had one of the 9mm barrels rechambered for 357 SIG.  CZ Custom did the work for me and it turned out great.  My pistols are the original TS, but see no reason it would not work the same.  Maybe Stuart can give a more definitive decision.

Having a shadow 2 fitted with at TS 40 upper and a 357 Sig barrel as well.  Looking to see what the extra half inch of barrel will do for velocity.  Running almost 1400 fps with 147 xtps.  and almost 1600 for 124 xtps.  Can go higher but the ES get above 20 so I stop. 

Bottom line is I highly recommend doing the conversion.  You can practice with lower cost 9mm and then shoot matches with Major in 40 without screwing around with trying the 9mm Major loads.

Who’s doing the fitting on your shadow 2? I try that route if it’ll work well.
