I've been considering this gun for casual target shooting. Has this gun gone through the custom shop for the trigger? Is it just a really good production gun? I have a SP-01 Custom (91765) Does anybody know anything about my custom ? I think it predates the Shadow line. It has gone through the custom shop and the SA/ and DA trigger is the best I have ever pulled. I looked at a Shadow 2 SA/DA a couple of days ago. Neither trigger pull was anywhere near as light or smooth as my custom. If the trigger on the SAO isn't equal or better than my custom, I don't need it. Looking for some advice. Thanks Sig

I have heard the Shadow 2 SAO and SA/DA have the same trigger pull in single action only, the only difference is the trigger shape. You might want to look at TS2 or TSO.

My Shadow2 trigger has about 1/8 takeup and breaks at a little over 3 pounds. The over travel is adjustable. Although the stock grips are beautiful, I swapped them out for LOK palm swell bogies. I am just a backyard plinker and the SA trigger is fine for me! I really don’t feel I shoot the shadow2 and better than my CZ75B SA! I don’t feel like the extra weight changes felt recoil much. My Target addition Ruger 1911 in 9mm is a softer shooter! Good luck!

One of the additions to the TS variants (assuming the TS2) is the addition of ejector cage stabilization springs that minimize any play in the cage. This helps clean up the trigger break point and eliminates a small amount of creep. I'm unaware of the S2 variants having these extra springs (don't own one). This is something you can clean up by pinning the sear cage: https://czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=85892.0.
Something to consider if you are after a great trigger in a CZ platform.
Cheers,
Toby

My SA has zero creep! It may with time but if you can’t shoot with this trigger, find another hobby.
