Title: New to us CZ RAMI
Post by: New2CZ9mm on April 05, 2021, 01:12:28 AM
Ok so I kinda introduced myself on another thread, just to say hello. We kinda inherited/kinda bought a CZ 2075 RAMI that belonged to my brother-in-law. I am not new to guns but the CZ is new to us. The gun was offered to us but while the person handling the sale of the guns wouldn't take the money we told him ok give us the gun and we will give my sister the money. We all agreed to that. I'm looking it over and I can tell it has polymer and it's a 9mm. What I'm trying to find out is if this model has a decocker or not. I'm thinking no but I'd appreciate some expert tips on that. I'm going to load it with snap caps and have a little quality time with it before taking it out on the range. Thanks in advance.

The Rami p is a safety model.   They are also renown for having a bulge in the polymer frame. Search for Rami p bulge and see if yours is affected.

Good luck.

I have the 2075P (rami) with the stainless upper with 700 rounds and so far no sign of the bulging problem. Love it !

After looking at it again, it shows no sign of the bulge and parts of it are alloy...maybe my brother in law changed the grips on it. He would do stuff like that. Wish I could get a date of manufacture on this thing.

The year of manufacture can be found in the first two digits before serial number on the pistols slide for new models and to the rear of the ejection port of the slide for older models.

This example is a 2008 manufacture.

If it has removable grip panels then it isn't a polymer RAMI p.  If that is the case then it could be a decocker (Rami BD) or a safety (Rami B).  Does it have night sights?  There are a number of aftermarket grip panels for the standard Rami (polymer, wood, aluminum, etc...).  The frame is alloy on the standard variants.

My rami is incredibly accurate for a subcompact.  Go shoot it and see how it runs.

Cheers,
