Title: Rami slide issue
Post by: Axam86 on April 24, 2021, 11:52:07 AM
I have two rami 2075. One with the safety works fine. The decocker model has a slide issue.
The slide hangs up/doesn’t move forward after ejecting a round.
It begins to move forward and sometimes stalls and then goes forward and sometimes just stays in that partially open position.
It’s lubed extensively and been back to CZ twice.
Anyone else with similar issues?

What did CZ tell you after they looked at the pistol on both occasions you described?

Does your RAMI exhibit this behavior with different types of ammunition?

How about magazines?  Have you tried more than one magazine, and if so is the malfunction present with different magazines?

Have you tried the "plunk" test with both barrels?  (Remove both barrels, use the same identical round of ammo, and drop the loaded round into the chamber of each barrel with the barrel muzzle turned straight towards the floor).  Does the loaded round fall fully into the chamber of both barrels, or does it only seat partially in the barrel from the pistol that is giving you problems?

Unless the malfunction is being caused by something very obvious and apparent, I would eliminate the above three possibilities, as they are easy to do and can be done at zero cost.  (Assuming you already have some different types of ammo!)

Good luck with your issue, and please keep us on the forum informed regarding resolution.

When it was at CZ to they said it was fine. I sent it bac with two mags and they didn’t find anything wrong

I have used several different brands of Ammo along with reloads and issue still occurs.

I bought new mags and it still occurs.

Have yet to do the so-called drop test
