Title: Pocket holster
Post by: cntrydawwwg on May 07, 2021, 10:00:30 PM
Hi all, curious as to what people use for a pocket holster. Recently picked up an Lcp just for pocket carry. Will use the soft holster it came with for awhile, but thinking I’d prefer leather. Leaning towards a HighNoon pocket grabber as I have a couple of their products, but I’m open to suggestions wether soft, kydex or leather. Thanks in advance.

Alabamaholster.com front pocket holster. You might find less expensive options, but this is a well thought out serious use holster.

I also have a Vedder OWB holster too. Just thought I’d mention it.

BORAII holsters has a trigger guard type pocket holster. I got one for my PPS M2 and it works great.

I have been using a Remora for my Kimber Micro 9 for a few years. I have used them with other guns as well, I have a few different sizes and I like them when I pocket carry which is most of the time.

Check out C3 Tactical Solutions.  My requirements for a pocket holster are pretty extensive:  all-kydex construction, trigger guard completely covered, thumb tab to release retention to stage a draw, clinging hook so it stays in the pocket during draw, curved hook so that it conceals better and doesn't move around, and adjustable retention.  I don't think any other pocket holster maker actually includes adjustable retention, but its a huge deal for me, since everyone has a different idea of what feel secure.

One of the most unique available options for the C3 Tactical Solutions pocket holster is the option to size the width of the hook, so that it fits in your specific pants pocket well.  If its too small, the whole system just starts moving around and doesn't stay in place inside the pocket.  The grip filled with ammo starts to want to droop toward the bottom unless the holster is rigidly held inside the pocket.

Finally, the lead times are fantastic.  I've ordered two from him and they arrived within 2 weeks.
