I drove 60 miles to my favorite gun shop this morning hoping to find my newest treasure...
She was in the display case waiting for me.  :) (I just noticed this 97 sub forum)

Congrats! Even the big store here that has checkmates and AO!s didn't have a 97, weird...
Read the tread about the LCI plate-It may be a thing, but hopefully not.

Imo it's the best CZ.  Don't have an issue with my lci.

I haven't seen a 97 around here for over a year.

i Love my 97 decocker
I did locktite the LCI screw - mine loosened up after about 400 rounds....

Congrats.  I joined the club on Monday.  Traded even for my DW Pointman Minor 2 that had been cerakoted and WC internals.  I haven't shot it in several years and like CZ's.  It joins the Shadow 2, 75b Omega, and the rest of the DW group (Guardians and 15-2 revolvers).  I already have a MCarbo spring set coming for it since it liked what it did for the Shadow 2.  75b of a complete CGW setup in it also.

I've tried searching for info on the LCI Screw, but with no luck. I don't want to have issues.

It’s no big thing.  Just that tiny set screw that fasteners the plate to the slide.

I've said it before, my 97BD was quickly becoming my favorite CZ prior to ammo shortage. I haven't been shooting it as much as I had been, but what a great gun!

She is cleaned, lubed, and ready for the range. I'll post a range report upstairs tomorrow afternoon.
