Title: Airsoft for practice
Post by: AZ_GunGuy on June 03, 2021, 11:43:43 PM
I recently purchased an electronic airsoft pistol.  I've been doing drills to improve my sight picture and trigger pull.  Have you guys tried something like this?

I’ve thought about it, just never really knew what to get.

I thought about it myself but decided to just use my pistol for dry fire. Having a red dot makes it a lot harder since it’s constantly moving but so far, so good. I had improved tremendously will continue doing what I’m doing.

I started some training sessions yesterday.  To me, the big win is that I can fire then have the trigger reset itself, while also getting real feedback as to where my shots are landing.  It's also fun :)

This one:

I added a red dot using an extra mount / dot I had laying around.

So far I'm liking it, but I have nothing to compare it to.  Some prefer the gas blowback models but I wanted the simplicity of a battery one.
