Title: VZ 58 Smith

I'd like to cut and pin a 14MM device (shorten barrel, pin/weld, move the sight base), and drill and tap a side mount.

Anyone know a GOOD 58 smith?  Unless they specialize in the VZ 58 to some degree, it would not be worth it.

Try Morgan at forcedmarchfabrication@gmail.com. It’s been awhile since I’ve heard him but I think he’s still working on them. See the sticky thread on VZ58 welding services. He used to tab carriers, do trigger jobs(quite well by what reports were), and do all sorts of repairs and mods. Links in the sticky thread to some of his YouTube videos, and there are lots more he doesn’t link too. Check him out, might be worth a email.

Here is a link for Ken Kubin located in metro Detroit. He prices are very affordable and he knows the VZ-58 very well. I had him switch out my front sight block, pin and weld the muzzle brake and do some custom work.

Got my VZ back.  Dan is totally great and the best communications of anyone I've dealt with bar none.  Trust him!
