I am finding myself having more than a few CZ's of various uses, most of the high grade I would not dare touch
the workings of them, but a couple whose sights I would like to change for 3 dot and other Dawson sights.
add in an HK and Walther, etc, and it looks like a wise move to buy a sight pusher.
Any suggestions about: 8)1. This a good move?
2. Brand names?

I've used a sight pusher for several sets of CZ sights. Mine wasn't an expensive one (NCStar), but it has worked very well for me.

I bought a sight pusher from optics planet it was about 50.00. It has removed some really tight sights many times. Well worth the money

I have used the affordable NcStar rear sight pusher on CZs and Canik/TriStars as well as other pistols. I would not hesitate to purchase the NcStar model that does front and rear sights.

Lyman...only $115...LOL but it appears it will do a wide variety of slides.

I have used the sight tool.com gen IV on many cz-75 pre b and B also 1911s works great . After getting it I sold the Wheeler I had.

A friend gave me one of the generic sight pushers a couple years ago. I tried it on a couple pistols and did more damage and swearing than I ever did using a punch and hammer. I do have a dedicated steel punch with a leather dot glued on the end that makes it non-marring. That punch, an 8 oz. ball peen hammer and a vise works best for me.

I have a decent Wheeler that I’ve used on Glock, S&W, and CZ style guns.

MGW Pro sight pusher is expensive but the best. i hace changed sights on a variety of CZs, Glocks and Sigs with mine. all quite easily. this is a case where if you spend the money on a very high quality tool you will not regret it.

I use the ncstar heavy duty sight pusher on all my cz’s and 1911’s wonderful tool, works great!

I also have the NcStar. I wish this tool had the ability to push from the center of the dovetail area rather than above it. The CZ Custom sight pusher might be the best, but not universal of course. Even this type looks like it can push from inside the dovetail area: https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Sight-Pusher-Tool-Handguns/dp/B075QV1SQY

Phil:
This is the one I use and it's a precision piece of equipment that works for a large number of pistols!
IMO, this model is a bit more "range friendly"..........
