When I first received my steel framed Compact, I assumed that the smooth OEM trigger would not feel as good as my serrated trigger on my S&W Model 28. So I installed the PCR serrated trigger. It wasn't what I thought it would be. So I ordered a "Old Style" trigger from CGW and installed it last night. I fired 100 rounds this morning and it is a much more shootable trigger than the OEM and PCR were for me.

I'd never compare a revolver trigger like an S&W especially a large revolver like that to the trigger on any semi auto pistol they're just 2 totally different worlds. Wish you had asked about the PCR serrated trigger before you swapped one in. I for one and several others hated the serrated trigger in the PCR's and they got promptly removed. I experienced alot of trigger slap/sting with the serrated trigger but after adding the CZ 85 adjustable trigger that CGW sells in their pro pack it's perfect.
Now My S&W wheel guns with serrated triggers are a totally different feel and a joy too shoot.

Understood. This CZ is my first DA/SA semi auto. Don't like the G19 trigger at all, since I am used to 1911's. I tried for a year to get used to it, now it sits in the safe as potential trade material.

I understand comparing triggers. I came from wheel guns into the CZ world. In my case I hated all the take up (slop) in the trigger. Changing to the CGW type 2 disco made the biggest difference to me. While a semi auto will never feel like a revolver, it can be close IMO. I haven’t tried the old style trigger yet, but do plan on trying it out.

From what i have seen, the serrated PCR Trigger is the least popular overall and the old style 85c Trigger is the most popular overall. The serrated Trigger never really bothered me in my PCR, but then i never have shot my PCR that much.
Glad that you found the Trigger that you where looking for.
