From an email I received from CZ, one of the questions I had asked was when the 85 started production, since it was mid-year probably not a lot produced in 1985. Just ran into the old email so thought I would post that part of it:
Otherwise, the serial production of the CZ 85 series started on 14 June 1985.
This model was from the start produced in three versions, i.e. Standard, Lux and Combat.

Thank you for the info. I almost never have a good reason to post these pics. This may not meet the "good" criteria, but good enough i think.

They are Tumbler style paddle safety levers. There are a few types of ambi safety lever interface within the CZ 75 variants. The CZ 85 B/Combat, use the tumbler style like the CZ 75 SA. The SP-01 uses a different type, the D style.
These are generally available through CZ USA, Cajun Gun Works and CZ Custom Shop.
