Title: CP 09 Kadet slide problems

Hi,

I recently bought a P-09 Kadet.  Shoots fine.
But when I try to field strip it, I cannot remove the slide.

Magazine is out, slide stop is out, but something is preventing the slide from moving forward.  It slides maybe a quarter inch forward but then is stuck.
What could be the problem?

Did you remove the magazine first?

Have the same issue with my P-07 Kadet kit.  I can get it off if I push it back to the starting point and then move the slide all the way to the rear and just let go.  Make sure you have a good place for it to land.
