I’m off from work for a week so I decided to change out the sights on my 4 CZ Pistols.
P10-C FDE that came with NS. Swapping the the factory front sight with a Night Fision Red Ring Front. The stock rear is fine.
P-07 swapping the stock luminescent sights with a Night Fision set.
P-01 Omega. Swapping the luminescent with a Tru Glo TFX set.
SP-01 Tactical. Swapping the front FO and rear luminescent with a set of Tru Glo Tritium Pros.
Looking forward to starting this project. The sights for the P-01 are being delivered tomorrow. The SP-01 and P-07 on Wednesday. Haven’t received a shipping notice on the P10 Night Fision front.

Congrats !
Any particular plan to achieve it?
Gunsmith? Sight pusher? Hammer and punch? :D

Hammer and Punch and Sight pusher.
The rear P07 Night Fision will most likely be hammer and punch.
The Tru Glo’s possibly sight pusher.
I got the rears of the P-01 and P-07 out with a pusher. I’m pretty sure the rear of the SP-01 will come out with the pusher. All the fronts of course were hammer and punch.
I really like the stock FO on the SP-01. Looks amazing in day light and at the indoor range. But it’s my HD gun and I like NS for low light. If I were a competitive shooter or if it was just a range gun it would be FO front all the way.

Great!
I hope all will go well.
I don't have a good memories with my sights' replacement. ;D I got success with 1911 only.
CZ wasn't so easy. It seemed to be piece of cake to take them off... but once I saw how they looked... I let the gunsmith finish the work. That was P-01 Omega... and I never touched any sights by myself again. O0
Thx God my gunsmith does it for few bucks...

Thanks. I’ll post pics if all goes well.

Got the P01 Omega done with the Tru Glo TFX Sights.
Was relatively easy. Use 320 Grit sandpaper to remove material for fitting.
The sight pusher was great with rear sight went in very easy. Used calipers to get a gauge on evenness of the rear sight. The P-07 and SP-01 Sights will be in tomorrow.

same sights i put on my P-01! Saw an interesting video from CGW were they installed a front sight were they temporarily placed it in the slide and then used the appropriate size punch to mark both sides of the sight base. Once the sight was marked they removed it by tapping it out with a delron rod and then they used a dremel with a cutting disc to grind the groove in the sight base for the pin to go thru. they held the sight with a vice grip while grinding the groove. Was pretty slick ! When he installed the sight and looked thru the slide to see the groove cut in the sight he used an appropriately sized punch to check for clearance. He needed to fit the groove just a bit so he used a drill bit to ream the sight base. Reason he does it this way is the drill has a tendency to walk if you try to drill the sight hole groove installed in the slide. Rather than messing up the slide pin holes he grinds the groove out of the slide. Once the groove is cut the drill has hardly no chance of walking if you need to ream the groove a bit while the sight is installed .

That’s ironic because I saw that very same video a few days ago. Yes it was cool how he did that with the dremel saw. I specifically went with sights that have the notch cut out to avoid drilling but that’s a great technique for cutting a notch.

Just finished putting Tru Glo Tritium Pros on the SP-01 and Night Fision on the P-07.
Used the Sight Pusher on both rear sights. The pusher lined up great with Night Fision dovetail and went it easy after some sanding. The Night Fision front went in really easy after sanding with just a few taps of the hammer.
The Night Fision front for my P10-C just shipped today so maybe in a few days I can do it.
I have been wanting to get Night Sights for my P-07 since I got it in 2018. My gunsmith is a hour drive away and just could never find the time to make that drive pre Covid. Don’t know how much I saved by buying the sight pusher for $50 and $10 for a couple of Dawson Aluminum nylon tip punches to change the sights on 4 pistols.

The Night Fision front came in for my P10-C. No fitting necessary. Went right in with a few hammer taps. All done. All of my Pistols have night sights.

Just got back from the range. All pistols are on paper. Still need to really dial in my grip and trigger pull. Nothing is grouping left or right.
