How long have you continuously owned your ZKM 452, purchased from new?
I'll start off; my ZKM 452 Lux is date stamped "72" as in 1972, I bought it new in the box in 1973. That's 29 years (man, I'm OLD!)
I take "painful" care of my guns and this one still looks great. It has seen a fair amount of shooting and can still shoot a 3/4" group at 50 yards with Win. T-22's
These are my favourite .22 rifle and even though I don't NEED one, I'm temped to buy anothe 452 Lux.

I have a 452 Special, since yesterday.
I'm a happy camper.

Congratulations on the new 452!
I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine.

I've only had mine about a year, but it's the best 22 I've ever owned in 40 years! I'd love to have a Varmit and an American, mine happens to be the Silhouette. It's the first rifle I ever shot a one hole group with!

SonnyD,
You owe to yourself to check out the Lux/Special. The sight is very very good. I thought about getting a scope, but since it shoots so well with the iron sight, I decided to keep it like that.
What kind of scope do you have on your Silhouette?

pbhome71, actually I wish I could see well enough to use iron sights. The NRA 25yd target is just a blur for me with some glass on the gun. I have a Bushnell Scopechief 6x18x40. It works real well for me. I wish I had the luxury of not using glass but it's just not in the cards for me. The shop I go to has a Lux, 2 Americans, a new Varmit and a used Varmit, a military and I'd love to have them all! Just waiting for the .17 to come in now! The Lux and the American fit me the best, but I just have a thing for heavy barrels.
