Title: Where are all the Armalite AR 24’s?
Post by: boss351 on October 31, 2021, 10:15:24 AM
This pistol was what got my CZ disease started years ago and sold mine 4 years ago regrettably. I have been looking on GB and GA and it’s like they have vanished!!! Who is hoarding them? How are the newer Sarsilmaz steel framed pistols? Hard to put my hands on one in my nick of the woods..

IF you are only in the market for a Collectors item, then by all means look for your very scarce Armalite AR-24.

IF you are in the market for a serious working Pistol, by all means have a look at the SAR 2000.  https://sarusa.com/product/2000-series/
It's pretty much the next evolution of the AR-24.

Currently, the only steel framed Sarsilmaz Pistol in my inventory is the full size SAR K2-45 and I find it to be a very nicely made, durable, and reliable Pistol.

The only problem that some have had with SAR-USA is a lack of spare parts being available, but this has also been an industry wide problem.

Thanks JWC that is the one I was looking at exactly. Good to hear it’s a worthy successor too!

I have one that I bought many years ago.  ;D  I really like it, but I can't say that it's better than any of my other clones.

I’ve also been on the hunt for an (affordable) ArmaLite.  Never would have imagined them to become scarce.  ArmaLite holds a place in my heart as my first AR-15, and I remember browsing their catalog back in the day and admiring their handgun.  Wasn’t until later that I learned about the CZ 75 and all its illegitimate children.

As far as I'm concerned, all of CZ-75's children are legitimate.  In fact, I like some more.

Legitimate or not, my favorite “CZ 75” is the Jericho 941 F.   8)

I found a guy here that had a Canik C-100 compact and got it and am quite pleased with its performance thus far. It will rotate in my conceal rotation depending on what I’m wearing. No issues at all with any ammo in 124, 115, or 147 grain FMJ or defense rounds.
Bret I’m in complete agreement with that statement.
