Find your tightest setting that allows the hammer to drop and then back it out 1/4 - 1/2 a turn to ensure adequate Hammer hook to Sear clearance. You can check the Hammer/Sear clearance by manually rocking the Hammer back and forth with the Trigger pulled and closely observing the the Hammer and Sear for rubbing. If the overtravel set screw is set too tight, the top of the Hammer hooks can rub on the underside of the Sear and reduce the life of the Hammer. This can be a bit of a fidgety process.

For the pretravel set screw, adjust the screw in until the pistol will reset in Single Action. Then back it off a bit to ensure that the pistol will reset once it is dirty.
