Title: CZ97 Disconnector
Post by: hammer_fired on November 10, 2021, 08:07:12 PM
I have had my CZ97 converted to SAO for some time now. I never thought much about removal of the disconnector until now.

Since I carry this pistol, I got to wondering if having the "disco" removed is a safety concern. After doing some research, it appears that the "disco is only needed for the DA cocking, and the trigger bar does the actual disconnect if the slide is out of battery. Is this correct?

Disconector is not needed for SAO trigger.how does it shoot now? Did you consider upgrading the hammer?

Shoots great!

Since the part is called a disconnector, I thought that it somehow prevented firing if the slide was out of battery, like the disconnector on 1911's, instead of just being there for the DA cocking and firing.
