I have no idea if this was ever posted before, but it's interesting none the less.

I did my P-01 Omega fully automatic... by mistake. I was playing with action parts and used wrongly designed disconnector.  :(
I wasn't fun, when I brought my handgun to the range and fired all 14 rounds in 2 seconds... especially in front of RSO...   ;D

Is it true that there were only 100 of the full auto CZ75s made like they say in the video?

Think every manufacturer of firearms tries it.  None have been successful.  Broom handle Mauser, P-08 Luger, 1911, Glock, and Beretta 92 series have all been done.  None in large numbers.

Broomhandle Mauser was intended to be used in full auto with the wooden holster/stock attached.

That's probably why the HK VP70m incorporated the select-fire capability parts in the stock.

The front mag-grip is pretty cool.

It would be improved with a suppressor. 8)

You’re not alone there even the pro’s can have that issue. Had a P01 Omega with a pro kit installed in-house by CGW that had the same surprise full auto moment. It occurred on the last target of an indoor IDPA match, so it was only a 6 rd burst. Needless to say it was quite shocking to myself, the RO, and all witnesses. The rate of fire was so fast that it didn’t climb too much over the 6 rds the sight picture just became a violent blur. If I recall correctly 4 out 6 rds made it on the ~7 yd target.  Didn’t shoot it after that until CGW fixed it, surprise full auto is no way to live, lol.

A few years ago when I sent a CZ 75 DAO in to CGW for installing the RRK, David called to say it was ready. He then said that he needed to test fire it to make make sure it didn’t go full auto as they had not ever worked on one of the DAOs that were brought in only during 2000.

Sending a gun to you that goes full auto is totally unsat - needless to say.  It also makes one leery of changing out the FCG.  (Which I've done a few times).
