Title: Century VZ 2008 Accuracy
Post by: dross on December 19, 2021, 08:06:00 PM
I put an optic mount - the one that replaces the rear sight - on my VZ 2008. Mounted a Primary Arms red dot.

After sighting it in, I shot a 5 shot group at 100 yards. It was 3". I was so much more than pleased. I was never able to get better than about a 7" group with the iron sights, with my old-ass eyes. couldn't be happier with its accuracy now.

Love that little carbine.

The dots on most red dots are 2-3 MOA, so impressive indeed.

This was a 2 MOA dot, but you can still shoot smaller groups than the MOA of the dot. I think an AR front sight is 10 MOA wide, but some guys can shoot very small groups with AR iron sights.
