Could a cz85 made in 1987 have a blued slide and enamel finish on the frame? Saw one nib at a show still in the plastic full of old oil. The slide was definitely blue but the frame looked slightly different - more glossy. Could not field strip to check anything inside. Was wondering if the frame could have had the enamel finish?

Anything is possible with CZ in that time period.
Did you buy it?

No, the price was too high, in my opinion. Just been wondering in case I ever see another one.

I have one from this era and it is as you describe. Blued slide and enamel finish on the frame. Mine has some wear on the finish, but I couldn’t pass it up when I found it in a Pawn shop 3-4 years ago.

The one I bought years back had been parkerized. Don't know it left the factory that way or it was refinished later. Used hard and put up wet, that one.
