Title: Bull Shadow fixed sights
Post by: JJM7288 on December 29, 2021, 01:40:43 PM
I have a 75 Bull Shadow and may want to change to a thinner Dawson front or wider notch rear sight.
Is the rear sight a Novak cut, and what is the front sight cut?

Thank you!

CZC offers two front sights for the Bull Shadow. The fiber optic rod in 1.5 and 1 mm. The blade widths are the same. Also look closely at how the front sight is mounted with the barrel removed. There is a “vertical” hole that goes into the very front  (muzzle) end. There is a tiny roll pin that is in there... So it’s not just a drift out to remove front sight.  I also wanted to get a thinner front blade or wider rear notch sight. I was used to the CGW EZ sights.  Now.... I’m very glad I didn’t make any sight changes.
I still have the new front sight sitting on my desk that I was going to thin...and won’t now.

So bottom line before you go to remove the front sight look closely (from inside the slide) at how it’s mounted.
