Title: Sending S2 slide for milling

Question : Do I need to disassemble the slide completely: remove firing pin, front sight?
If I'm planning on going with the plate system, I assume there is no need to send the dot, correct?

Depends on where you’re sending it.  Each company has its own instructions/methods/pricing.

FYI...I sent my complete slide to them, and if you want you can send them the optic and they will mount it for you.
