Title: Extended Mag base ?
Post by: kabong57 on February 07, 2022, 09:34:57 AM
At one time I found a link for extended base pads for use on compact pistols. They would fill the gap between the grip and the Kadet Mag  base.  Have had no luck using the Search to find them.

I read something recently where someone was using some type of beretta mag sleeve that kinda sorta filled the gap kinda sorta ok. I wasn’t real impressed but then maybe other mag extension sleeves might work, also?  Sounds like a good thing for one of the clever dudes around here to design for a 3d printer and offer em up as an accessory,  ;)

I have tried those Beretta mag sleeves.  They didn't hold up after trimming them to fit the stock base plate. IIRC, the ones I saw came from a 3D printer.

I have a good buddy who is a whiz with the 3d printing stuff. I'll ask him what he thinks about this later today.

You can also use the Base from a 10 Round Compact 9mm Magazine, part number 0430377001

I would try them if they are ever available.

These actually work perfect.  I have them for all my Kadet magazines.
