The gun is for sale in the classifieds here and on other websites. There are a lot of views, but no interest.
I have considered keeping it, and trying to find a gunsmith who can fix it. But I'm so tired of its failures to feed after recoil spring changes, extractor cleaning, 8 different types of ammo, feed ramp polishing, new magazines, I've spent WAY more than the $1100 I paid for it. I don't want to spend a single cent more if I don't have to. It's a shame, because when it works, it's the most accurate handgun I've ever shot (and a .40s&w no less).
Is it priced too high at $675?
Aren't there people here who like to tinker with Witnesses, to get them running?
What will it take to sell it, and can it be sold?
Should I just have my FFL destroy it?

Very little interest in the .40 S&W these days from other Gun buyers and the high end Pistols can be a hard sell, regardless of who makes them.
As for your reliability issues, I could probably fix it, but I doubt I'm local to you.
Extractor Springs are a usual culprit on Cz Style handguns.

Good to know, thanks.

If you really want to 'unload' it, drop your price until you get an offer you can live with. You're already taking a hit, so it's a question of how much you're willing to absorb.

I'm getting there...

I can't figure out how to put them up here. If you email me, I can send them that way, mikecampbellspft@gmail.com.

These days an iron sighted, compensated .40 has no competitive application, so you're looking for a very specific buyer. With an optic mount, it would possibly make a decent open gun for Steel Challenge, but that's an additional investment on top of rolling the dice that the new owner gets it running 100%. All that said, it would be a bit of a leap to load .40 for open. Such a pretty gun though...

Well, one way NOT to unload it is to go onto the same forum where it is advertised, and list all of it's problems. ;)
(I am not advocating covering up issues. I have never listed an item anywhere without full disclosure of any problems. I just don't think a complaint similar to "this thing is piece of junk, and I wonder if I should just destroy it" is helpful.)

I am really pissed off at this gun, and if someone thinks they can cure it, I'd like to sell it to them. The last thing I am is a Tanfoglio mechanic. I could never pass off a gun with this many problems without disclosing them in good conscience. It probably would never be someone's self defense gun, but still.

It's definitely the most brutally honest sale ad I've ever seen. That says a lot about the person that posted it. I kinda want it, I just don't have a need for another project right now.

I uploaded pics to the thread in the classifieds forum if anyone would like to see them.

I think this has run it's course. It's turning into a second ad outside the classifieds.
