Title: Shadow 2 slide lock issue

I recently picked up a shadow 2 with a primary machine hardbinger cut.  I also have a reduced recoil spring and full cajun kit installed.  My issue is when I am doing a reload in competition the slide is going forward on its own before I can seat the mag fully into the gun.  This then requires me to rack the gun to chamber a round.  Everything on the gun is basically new.  Is there anything I can do?

Make sure the bullet clears the slide stop nub:

Make sure the back edge of the slide stop isn't rounded and that the slide itself isn't rounded where the two mate to hold the slide open (under the R on my Rami):

It's a feature if it drops the slide after seating the magazine but if it happens before seated that's a no go for sure!

It might also be time to replace magazine springs (or pull apart and clean and wax them).
