Title: Question about new compact build.

I am considering to mate steel (not alloy!) compact decocker frame with .40S&W compact upper.  Of course it would be necessary to mill the frame dustcover to accommodate the slide. Sear cage/ejector clears the slide ok. Other than that, does anybody see a problem with that combination?  Same question about standard safety compact steel frame.
