More time now to return to my old CZ interests. Perhaps some of you current users can quickly answer some questions I have please:
1. Does CZ still make a .22 "Kadet," clone in the image, feel, weight of the CZ-75? Or any Kadet at all?
2. It seems to me years ago if one had a Kadet, it was not practical to find a CZ-75 9mm frame, etc., ets., such that One could go, "backwards," to have a 9mm + .22 combination. Is this still true?
3. Since the Kadet appears to have been for training recruits before they took hold of the bigger 9mm brother, is there a current production CZ-75 that still mimics the original idea of this whole thing? (Or have models changed away from that old, earlier version)

My limited knowledge;
CZ stopped offering a complete " Kadet" pistol in 22LR on a 75 series frame.
They offered a Kadet 22LR conversion that replaced the barrel and slide on most 75 variants.
That was replaced by a Kadet II conversion that fit more 75 models including Omega series. These are now discontinued.
All of these conversions are "blow-back " design and the slide does not move.
There are conversions available for the P-07/09 series and the Shadow series of pistols. These are more of a conventional design just like the standard pistols.

kabong: Thank you for your comments. So....
Might we be saying then, that a 20+/- year old full steel, pure Kadet is worth a bit .... ? And, in them, the slide does move on each shot, but it's a, "skinny," sliver of a slide that moves. And does that say that the conversions operate WITHOUT that movement?
Leaving your Shadow period conversions as going back to a moving slide?

Watching on Firearm sites, Original Kadet pistols seem to bring a premium. On those pistols and any 75 series Kadet conversions, the thin Silver piece would be the Bolt moving away from a fixed barrel.
The P series and Shadow 2 series operate in a conventional manner with the slide moving.
