I picked up a used Phantom that didn't have a case with it. I recently found a black pistol case with the Uhersky Brod symbol on it. The CZ initials are not on the case. It's all black, including the latches, has the same catch in the middle you have to push in to open the case.
No label on the box, no paperwork inside, just foam.
When did they use this case, and what pistols would have come in it? My Phantom fits in it just fine. I like to have a factory case with my guns. I don't understand why people throw them away. I even keep the cardboard boxes that so many come in now.
Sorry, I don't have a pic right now.

Does it look like this?
My Vzor 70 came in this case.
I gold leafed the logo and tabs.

Yes that is it. So, it could be a 70's or 80's era box? It's in pretty good shape.
Thanks.

Yes that's the timeframe.

I've turned down buying a couple CZs because no case came with it. I don't understand it either as far as not retaining all the packaging that the gun comes with. I did buy an 85 that didn't have the packing box or case but the deal was just to good to pass up, a LGS find.

That’s the case that was used between 92/93 until around 2012 (by that time, only for the smaller pistols such as the CZ 83). It has the then new logo adopted by CZ when it became a privatized company in 1992 and the old logo was given up.
