Title: Red dot mount for TS2 Racing Green?

Post by: Stealth01 on May 29, 2022, 04:58:55 PM: I asked the same question via email. On 4 April I received this answer: “We are making a new mount to be compatible. Would estimate about 8 weeks till ready.” Based on this, should be available the 2nd week of June (I hope)!!

Post by: Stealth01 on July 14, 2022, 08:38:04 PM: I received the optic mount that fits the Race Green, and frankly I’m a bit disappointed in CZC. Installing the Thumb Rest over the optic mount looks, well, like a Rube Goldberg installation. Mounting a countersink device over a countersink device… Mounting a thumb rest that has a frame cut out flange over the red dot mount that doesn’t have a flange cut out… Really disappointed in CZC’s design and engineering in this application. For now I think I will use the optic mount without the thumb rest until I can find a throttle that blends with the optic mount or CZC decides to “blend” the thumb mount into the optic mount.

The thumbrest mount for the TS2 is coming as we run out of inventory of the TSO variant. just need patience.

Post by: Stealth01 on July 16, 2022, 07:10:31 PM: Installed the side mount without the thumbrest. Used M4X8 screws which provide sufficient grip length without penetrating the grip wall. The Slide really requires a Slide Charge Handle to safely handle the weapon, Have one on order. Arndog762, thanks for the tips.

Post by: Arndog762 on July 17, 2022, 10:49:36 PM: Slides right in with no effort. Used blue Loc-tite on the setscrew on my TSO and have never had it come loose. Did the same on the TS2.

Post by: Stealth01 on September 27, 2022, 05:08:04 PM: If you’re referring to a “Sight Cut” mount plate for a red dot, CZ has them available for all of their sight cuts. Having said that I would avoid them like the plague!! On the Race Green the Red Dot Side Mount is the way to go using the tapped holes on the grip dust cover. IF you want the red dot mounted on the slide then have it milled for your red dot. Wicked Arms in Baton Rouge Louisiana does an outstanding job for a reasonable price and with a very quick turn! Your listening to the voice of experience!!

Post by: Senpai on December 29, 2022, 02:16:32 PM: Hey guys - new member here. just following this as I just got a racing green ts2 and very interested in the red dot mount with the gas pedal. it looks like you have a spacer plate between the gas pedal and the mount? can you elaborate on that a little, I am hoping to set mine up like yours. all help appreciated. Post by: Jake4Now on May 01, 2023, 02:28:52 PM: I've looked everywhere for one of these, and they are either out of stock or not compatible. I emailed CZC and haven't heard back on when they are expected back in stock. Does anyone have a line on one or looking to get rid of theirs?
