Title: Rami Hammer Spring Length
Post by: z0mbi3 on June 20, 2022, 03:39:32 PM
Hi everyone!

I have a quick question. What's the standard length of a RAMI hammer spring? I noticed a standard 75 hammer spring is 63mm. Does anyone know how short std hammer springs are cut? I ask because I don't have one on hand to measure. I've read that they're just cut standard 75 springs.

Also, is there a suggested replacement interval for the hammer spring? (if there's anything clear or different than a standard 75 series hammer spring)

I've done quite a bit of searching but couldn't find clear info.

Thank you for your time!

David and CGW can answer that but it looks like he is selling pre cut hammer springs currently.  He used to provide instructions on how many coils to cut off in his SRS kits for a Rami.  I couldn't find any info online.

Cheers,
Toby

Hey Toby,

Thanks for the heads up. Truth be told I was asking about spring length because I was considering shortening the grip length on a P-07. I didn’t want to reduce my hammer spring shorter than a Rami hammer spring. I ended up buying one and I got my answer. The grip chop didn’t go shorter than a rami spring so I was happy. I also won’t disclose the rami spring length as I’d be inserting myself in other people’s business.

Thanks again!
