Title: Will the CZ 75 Kadet kit ever come back in production?
Post by: Metal Wonder Nine Guy on July 30, 2022, 10:23:25 AM
Not sure if these conversion kits will ever come back, but I wonder if there's a ghost of a chance these kits will ever come back several years from now.

I’m still wondering why they stopped selling the Kadet pistol. Used gun prices went crazy after it was discontinued. They still had Kadet uppers and 75b lowers; put them together = Profit.

Given the European laws, conversion kits make a lot of sense.  The Kadet II kit was extremely well made and accurate, and probably very manpower intensive to build.  Think it more likely that a new kit would come out much like the SP-01, where the slide is a light alloy and has a lot fewer parts. Hope they replace the Kadet II kits soon.  Have too many CZ 75s without dedicated 22 conversion kits.

It would be nice but I think what Fuzzy said about mfg cost it would make more sense to build a new model based on the SP-01 version. I know it would fit and work well because I have a SP model on a 75b SA  frame and enjoy shooting it as much as the II on a 75b frame I have.
