any recommendations for grips that wont irritate on skin, AND are slim enough to print less. i am concerned a bit on the slimness being less ideal for grip. but if there are grips that dont flare at the magwell like the original rubber ones do. im only guessing the really aggressive G10 ones will be annoying to carry.

Check out LOK and VZ. Both offer slimmer (non-palm swell) versions of their grips in a variety of textures.
-
cool will do. have you tried the slim ones are they extremely obvious compared to the factory ones? i like the slight palm swell
-
+1 on the Lok grips. I have the thin full checkered. Super comfortable. They can irritate the skin a little, but they have other options not as aggressive.
-
do they run deals normally or are they always this much?
-
Not really sure, I've only ordered one set from them. They might have a Labor Day sale in a few weeks.
-
Vz and lok are both nice options. I just picked up some lok panels for my p01. They had more options in stock than vz.

Do you wear an undershirt? I've found that makes a big difference in comfort (at least for me). My normal attire is either an untucked button down shirt over an undershirt or an untucked heavy T-shirt over an undershirt.
I carry the Standard thickness Ridgebacks regularly like this and have no problems with irritation (see my profile picture).
Here's a chart comparing the LOK thicknesses: https://lokgrips.com/product_images/uploaded_images/cz-75-grip-thickness-03.jpg

They run sales occasionally for holidays, etc.
Both offer a quality product. I'd stay away from some of the cheaper alternatives out there.

Check out coolhand grips. fit and finish just as good as the other two options mentioned and half the price.
i have them on two handguns and am more than happy with them.
they offer thin and palm swell versions.
-
i have the Vz full diamond checker in black color on my p-o1 and sp-01. The original cz rubber grips were too clingy when i put my shirt over the owb hi noon slide guard holster.
-
I echo those who recommend LOK grips. 3 of my CZs wear them, the other a set of cool hands.
My preference are LOK ridgebacks palm swell

My wife had her eye on my P-01 and finally made it hers. She loves the CZ custom aluminum grips because it makes it slimmer and easier for her to handle. These are the same ones that they use for the Pro-Tek. Not as grippy as the rubber palm swell OEM grips but not slippery or rough, either.

I have some LOKs on my EAA Witness 10mm and they are nice because you can sand them down and oil them if they are too rough.
The CZC are easier on the hands than the LOK.

Have LOK's on my P01, palm swell, fit great!!!!
-
I'm a big fan of the LOK grips as well but for half the price the GUUN grips on Amazon are hard to beat.
-
I have VZ Frags on my Compact. Far grippier than the stock black plastic, more narrow, and rides comfortably next to skin.
-
Check Amazon.... I bought two sets of grips. Required a bit of fitting but are good quality. Cool Hand.
-
If you go with Cool Hand, don't expect any customer service if you have an issue. The last order I placed with them, they sent me one grip panel, when I had obviously ordered a pair. Multiple attempts to reach out to them and get the order corrected never prompted a response at all. I would never order from them again.
-
For me it's the OEM rubber grips.
If not those, it's LOK grips.
Am not buying Amazon grips and having to fit them, don't care how cheap they are.
Got over a dozen lok grips and not one single issue.
-
Amazon, most require a tad bit of fitting.

I went thru 3 lok grip palm swells and finally settled on the thin lok grips. The palm swells felt better when holding the gun 1 handed, but using a 2 handed grip, I like the thins because it felt like a more secure grip. I just prefer the support hand to be gripping a flat surface. Tried mayhem, grenade, crosscut, and finally settled on the full checkered.
The mayhem dug into my fingers when I grip tight, the grenade and crosscut were comfortable but the grip wasn’t as secure. The full checkered sandpaper-like texture gives secure grip without digging into my fingers. It’s not as comfortable against the skin for appendix as the grenade and crosscut, but it’s a good compromise. Lok grips have a good return policy so you can just order a few and send back the ones you don’t like.

Another nod to LOK palmswells .

I'm a fan of the factory rubber grips. If I buy an older CZ that doesn't have them I order a set and install them.
We have a satin nickel CZ75 Compact that is just slick as can be. I had put some skateboard tape on the front of the grip to help hold on to it. I put the soft rubber on the pistol and after a couple range trips I tool the tape off. The grips made the difference.
