I like the thumbrest on the side of my tactical sport orange (TSO), but it does interfere with slide manipulation at times.
I know I could just remove it and fill the holes with buttonhead screws, but I'm curious to know if there's any sort of machined blank plate out there that would fit. Perhaps something checkered or textured that would not only help hide some countersunk screws, but also serve as an index point for my thumbs-forward grip?
Any insights would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I haven't seen a blank plate. I guess you could just remove it and leave the holes open as well.

I just cut a piece of grip tape the same size as the plate and stuck that on, works similar to what you are describing.

You could go with the factory angle 3 which is what comes on the TS2 Racing green and they also make the angle 1 https://xrayparts.it/4075-large_default/thumbrest-cz75-ts-czechmate-ankle-1-cz.jpg that might help.

I run a piece of grip tape over the slide stop hole as I don't run the slide stops, just the straight pins. I have to replace the grip tape ever so often as the chemicals used to deep clean the gun soften the adhesive and it starts to move around. It's cheap and effective and doesn't look all that bad over the black frame.

Thanks for the feedback, gents.
I think I'm gonna try and make my own. I'll follow up if I actually follow through with it ;D
