Hello everyone,
I’m waiting for my new P 09 Kadet, 22LR to arrive and I want to install a red dot with a dovetail mounting plate. I couldn’t find any information so I’ll ask you guys: Is the dovetail of a P 09 the same as the dovetail of a P 09 Kadet?

Not sure about the dovetail but i always heared that with a 'full size' 22 pistol its better to have a red dot mount like this. Or you will definetely have to use high velocity ammo.

With a model like Buck Mark, Ruger Mark or any match pistol its not an issue because you dont have a full size slide.

I have this one myself now since 4 weeks. First gun. Yesterday i got my second, the SP01 Shadow 1.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20220906/98e5772e20096aabcf4b81b65de9c092.jpg)
