Hi CZ Forum Members:
What do you think of Cajun Gun Works Gunsmiths as a whole
(quality of products, professionalism, prices for gunsmithing, etc),
especially for you who have a CZ 75 B 40 caliber handgun (rare)??
What do you think of the Pro-Package For 75 Manual Safety, the
quality, price (if Cajun Gun Works) installs this package, mills I,
etc.??
Thank you,
Jon Lutz

You won't ever hear anyone say a bad word about CGW's products or service, they are both top notch.

I have had great experiences with their products and fairly good experiences with their gunsmith service. In the two instances (one Omega pro package, one optic slide milling) out of five (three in-shop pro packages, two slide millings) where things didn’t go right they made every effort to fix them as soon as possible.
Another thing to consider if you have the time, patience, and follow the available tutorials closely; the pro package is not very challenging to install. I installed three on SP01s myself semi-recently. I found the experience very rewarding in terms of forcing me to learn a lot about the parts of pistols I carry and how to detail strip them.
You can also consider swapping parts piecemeal, (e.g. go with far cheaper spring kit + floating trigger pin + firing pin first) to see if those parts alone make the trigger more in line with what you want before committing to the whole package.

Based on reviews I just purchased a pro package for my 75B manual safety. It should be arriving tomorrow.

I imagine I have done about 10 propackages on our CZs and 5 or more on friends. The third one I did was on a 75 compact with safety. Asked my wife if she wanted to shoot it. after the first magazine she asked for a second mag. after the second mag she turned to me and said "surely you don't think you're getting this back. It is now her EDC

Didn't CGW start out modifying the 75 B-configured pistols?

I had a pro-package installed on a 75B. It is the one firearm that I regret selling.

John, 3 of my CZs have the pro pkg installed by CGW. Am a fan and repeat customer as you can tell. Good people who stand behind their work has been my experience. These 3 are all decockers
On my stainless 75b, I opted for CGW’s ultra lite kit that I installed myself. Took less than an hour & I was very hesitant to do it. That said am very impressed with the results. Key difference is the trigger length of travel, reset and crispness is much better with the pro pkg.
IMO you can’t go wrong

Sellers remorse been tnere

I've installed CGW Pro Packages on my Shadow 2 and my Custom Shop AccuShadow 2. The AccuShadow 2 trigger was already an amazing trigger, but the Pro Package made it even better. Same on my Shadow 2. I also went with the DA/SA Flat Trigger (Part # 75665) on both Shadow 2's. Both triggers are great.

I got around 2 dozen CZ guns, all have CGW parts.

I don't get that remorse anymore. The cure was to buy guns and never sell them.

I'm guessing he's kidding.
Kinda silly to put junk in 24 of your guns.

And your reason behind saying that?

I also wondered, but I think what he meant was if it was junk, you'd be silly to put it in 24 of your guns, so it must be good.
