just bought a Shadow 2. The salesman told me that the slide release could be reversed for left-handers.
This doesn't seem to be the case, and it doesn't auto-forward when I insert a magazine.
As a left-hander how should I work or change the slide stop?
Thanks,
Randy

I slingshot it (the slide) when on the firing line and charging the pistol. If I need to manipulate the slide catch for any other reason, I either use my thumb, or change hands.

The magazine release can be swapped for wrong handed shooters but I'm unaware of anyone that makes a lefty slide release. You could just use the TSO slide stop pin and eliminate the slide lock function all together?

The auto forward feature may just need to be worn in with some aggressive mag changes.

Thank you. the pin is out of stock, but I am on the wait list.

Mag release can be swapped to the other side for lefties, but not the slide release/stop. The slide is milled on the left side for the thing-a-ma-jigger that makes contact with the mag follower to lock the slide back at empty. That same cut out is not present on the right side of the slide.
Suspect the guy at your LGS got the two mixed up.
Try loading your mags to at least 10 rnds then slap it in with the slide back. Suspect it’ll auto-forward then. Mine (which are well broken in) won’t autoforward with an empty mag.

Thank you!!!!!

I'm pretty sure the cz85c slide stop is not compatible with the shadow 2 frame width. It is ambidextrous and has a lever on both sides but may be too short for four the s2.
